Saja winning at Tauranga

It has been a week to remember for Eureka Stud’s Jonker, with winners in two countries in the space of a 24 hours: a debut winner in New Zealand and a back-to-back winner in Queensland.

Saja wins first-up at Tauranga

Across the Tasman, Saja (Jonker x Safe Harbour) made the perfect start to her career, winning on debut at Tauranga for the powerful Lance O’Sullivan and Andrew Scott stable.

Sold by Warrandale Stud through the Magic Millions March Yearling Sale, Saja was bought by owner Warren Bolton. She has repaid that faith first time out, and her stable will be excited about what lies ahead.

Night Market makes it two in a row at Ipswich

Closer to home, Night Market (Jonker x Island Daze) continued her progression with back-to-back wins at Ipswich for leading Queensland trainer Tony Gollan.

Night Market was purchased for $75,000 at the 2025 Magic Millions Gold Coast March Yearling Sale by her trainer in partnership with One Syndications and John Foote Bloodstock. Two wins in a row show she is building nicely, and there should be more to come.

Winners in Australia and New Zealand in the same week show that Jonker’s progeny have both ability and versatility. Both winners came through the Magic Millions March Yearling Sale, which also gives buyers at that sale a good reason to look at his stock.

Congratulations to the connections of both Saja and Night Market.
