For the fourth successive season, Eureka Stud’s Spirit Of Boom has won the title of Champion Sire of Queensland for the 2021-22 racing season.
From only five crops to race, Spirit of Boom has consecutively won this title since his first crop raced as three year olds, improving his own achievements each year. This past season Spirit of Boom produced 132 individual winners, winning 211 races from 275 runners and finishing equal seventh in Australia overall. This included 7 individual stakes winners and total earnings of $9,610,237 putting him fourteenth in the Australian Sires Title. His top performer was Jonker who won the Group 1 Manikato Stakes at Moonee Valley.
